RFC

RFC (short for "request for comments") is an experimental commenting and authoring system for this blog.

RFC tries to create a more collaborative discussion by enabling:

• comments on specific parts of the text (as opposed to globally at the bottom of the post)
• suggestions directly in the text, which can be accepted by me.

As an author, I can also write and edit my posts directly from the same UI you use to read, comment and make suggestions, which enables me to update my blog as I re-read it more incrementally as find small parts that I don't like.

This is still fairly experimental and flaky (e.g. there is a lot of things that are broken), but otherwise could significantly decrease the friction in creating and collaborating in public blog posts.
